Checklist for Honeymoon Packing

Make Sure to Pack All Necessary Items

Use the checklist below as a tool to pack everything needed for a honeymoon. If there are additional items, add them to the bottom and cross things off as they are packed in the luggage. Take the minimum amount to get by and still enjoy a romantic getaway while feeling sexy.

Don’t Forgets:

• Passports and driver’s licenses
• Airline tickets
• Credit cards
• Traveler’s checks
• Medical insurance
• Phone numbers (doctor, dog sitter, neighbor)
• Prescription medicine
• Camera
• ID tags for luggage
• Eyeglasses and/or contacts

Media:

• iPod or MP3 player
• Batteries
• Maps and directions
• Travel guide
• Underwater camera
• Reading material (A good romance novel is always a great beach read.)

Medical Supplies:

• Band-aids
• Anit-diarrheal medication/ Tums
• Bug repellent
• Antibiotic ointment
• Pain reliever such as Advil or Tylenol
• Anti-bacterial wipes
• Antihistamine
• Motion sickness medication

Documents:

• Addresses of friends and family for sending postcards
• Pre-paid phone card
• Vaccination certificates, if needed
• Your itinerary

Toiletries:

• Comb and/or brush
• His and her deodorant (travel size)
• Toothpaste (travel size)
• Floss
• Mouthwash (travel size)
• Lip balm and/or lip gloss
• His and her shaving kits
• Shampoo (travel size)
• Conditioner (travel size)
• Hair styling products (travel size if possible)
• Blow dryer, straightening iron, and/or curling iron
• Makeup bag containing all necessary makeup items
• Makeup remover
• Facial cleanser and lotion
• Body lotion
• Tampons and/or pads if necessary
• Hair ties, head bands, and/or clips
• Tweezers
• Aloe Vera
• Cotton balls
• Nail file and clippers
• Contact solution

Her clothing and accessories for one week:

• 2 or 3 bathing suits (No one wants to put on a wet bathing suit. One bathing suit can dry while wearing the other one. Plus if the destination is a beach, bathing suits are probably going to be the most worn item.)
• 1 swimsuit cover up
• 5 shirts (tank tops, t-shirts, short-sleeve shirts)
• 2 pairs of shorts
• 1 skirt (Pick one out that goes with a couple different tops that are packed.)
• 1 pair of jeans
• 1 light jacket
• 1 nice cardigan to wear over a dress at night
• 1 little black dress
• 1 sundress
• 1 pair of sweatpants (It can get cold in some hotel rooms and on airplanes. Fly home in something comfortable.)
• Bras (strapless and other)
• 12 pairs of underwear (Always pack extra underwear. Women don’t realize how often they’re in and out of their underwear, especially at the beach.)
• 4-6 pairs of socks
• 1 pair of sandals or flip-flops
• 1 pair of tennis shoes or sneakers
• 1 pair of dressy shoes
• 1 evening purse
• Lingerie
• Inexpensive jewelry to dress up the outfits
• Workout clothes

His clothing and accessories for one week:

• 2 swimsuits
• 1 pair of jeans
• 1 pair of nice slacks
• 1 light jacket
• 1 sweatshirt (for traveling or cold hotel rooms)
• 6 t-shirts
• 2 polo or button down short sleeve shirts
• 1 oxford shirt
• 1 sports jacket
• 1 tie
• 1 pair of dress shoes for a nice dinner at a fancy restaurant
• 1 pair of sandals
• 1 pair of tennis shoes or sneakers
• 1 ball cap
• 12 pairs of boxers or briefs
• 4-6 pairs of socks (including one pair of dress socks)
• Workout clothes

• Binoculars
• Lint roller
• Sports gear
• Sunscreen
• Umbrella
• Sunglasses
• Deck of cards
• Zip lock bags
• Small backpack
